King’s Beach Retreat offers two self-catering retreats located on prominent King’s Head a thirty minute walk from Victor Harbor’s Bluff it commands amazing views along this famous wilderness coast… A two minute walk by a private access track takes you to secluded, sheltered King’s Beach or to the Heysen Trail which is fast gaining an international reputation for stunning coastal walks.

Take a ten minute drive to Encounter Bay and enjoy a variety of restaurants and cafes. A fifteen minute drive will take you to Victor Harbor which boasts restaurants, hotels, major supermarkets, cafes, library, DVD hire and of course the famous horse drawn tram to Granite Island.

SEA RETREAT

Perched on the headland edge it has unrepeatable views of the sea and mysterious Waitpinga cliffs as far as the eye can see, yet totally private within its stone courtyard walls.

The Sea Retreat is architect designed boutique accommodation which creates a cosy, human scaled traditional beach house feel. It includes a king size bed that seems to float above the stunning view in a flowing living space which culminates in a large glass enclosed courtyard with sunseats, dining, heating and BBQ facilities… also overlooking the breathtaking view.

The retreat has a romantic double shower which overlooks the cliffs, a dressing room, washing machine and a fully set up kitchen with oven and dishwasher and bar and has reverse cycle airconditioning. TV, DVD and stereo. A complimentary bottle of wine is also provided.

SAND RETREAT

The Sand Retreat offers boutique, architect designed rammed earth accommodation, including one king size bedsitting room and one separate double bedroom.

The retreat has amazing cliff top views, is self-catering, a complimentary bottle of local wine is provided upon arrival.

Barbecue facilities are available in the stunning glass sheltered courtyard with breathtaking ocean views.

The retreat is complete with a modern kitchen, spacious living room, full air-conditioning, large high pressure shower also with great views, TV, DVD and stereo.

This newly extended, renovated and impeccably appointed home is right in the centre of beautiful Victor Harbor.

The property boasts accommodation for twelve guests, two bathrooms, two living areas, a well-appointed brand new kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining options.

Your escape contains one king and two queen bedrooms, a double sofa bed in one of the lounges, and a bedroom with two bunk beds. The two living areas each offer a large screen internet-connected TV. WiFi is free. Reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans in three bedrooms and a wood burning combustion heater ensure year-round comfort. A European-style laundry cupboard houses a brand new washer and dryer. The kitchen has a large fridge, glass cooktop and dishwasher. Additional appliances include a small convection oven, microwave oven, kettle, Nespresso pod coffee maker, frypan, toaster, slow cooker and rice cooker.

Please note: there is no conventional oven. There is a large barbecue in the extensive undercover area. The rear garden, containing a large sun-sheltered sandpit and adjacent shower, is secured from the street by a lockable gate.
