Swagman Country Dining @ Softfoot
Established in the late 1990’s, Softfoot is a privately owned family farm originally dedicated to the breeding of World Class Alpacas as well as a Sanctuary and Genetic Ark for endangered Australian Marsupials and a large forestry project aimed at reducing our carbon footprint.
Relax and enjoy tea or coffee while soaking in the breathtaking views over the valley or stay for lunch or dinner in the newly built restaurant. The menu is a true Taste of Australia. With sumptuous regionally sourced meats and vegetables topped with the unique flavours of Australian native bush foods (some even grown on the property). The wines have been attentively chosen from regions around South Australia. The coffee is locally roasted in the seaside town of Port Elliot and our Beers are made locally as well. Experience our home baked damper, biscuits and cakes and our warm country hospitality.

Onsite we also have a boutique offering one of a kind gift ideas including locally made alpaca fleece garments (from our own fibre grown on farm), toys and quilts and a unique museum exhibit of handmade Australian Studio pottery .
