Feel the adrenaline lift as The Big Duck powers across the Southern Ocean, answering the Call of the Wild with a front-row seat to seals, dolphins, seabirds and – when they’re in town – whales. Fast, fun and wildly immersive, this is ocean wildlife viewing with spray on your jacket and a grin you won’t shake all day.
Big Duck Boat Tours depart from the Causeway on the way to Granite Island.
Explore the region from the sea on board a Big Duck Boat Tour with your choice of a 45-minute or 90-minute journey on the water where you will visit Seal Rock, known for its Long Nosed Fur Seals, and Australian Sea Lions, Wright Island, and along the Bluff while listening to guided talks of the marine life and rich whaling history. This is a great way to explore Victor Harbor’s otherwise difficult to get to, islands and marine life.
During the winter months in whale season, Big Duck also provides tours to the Encounter Marine Park where they often encounter Humpback Whales and Southern Wright Whales on their yearly migration from Antarctica.
