Step aboard the historic Cockle Train for a leisurely journey along Australia’s oldest steel-railed railway.
Glide between Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, and Goolwa, taking in coastal scenery and views you simply can’t reach by car.
Between Victor Harbor and Port Elliot, the route hugs the coastline, offering uninterrupted vistas of the Southern Ocean. In winter, keep an eye out for majestic Southern Right Whales making their way along the Fleurieu Peninsula. Ideal for a calm adventure, a relaxed afternoon of boutique browsing, or soaking up the region’s natural beauty, the Cockle Train is a timeless way to explore Victor Harbor.
The historic Cockle Train operates every Wednesday and Sunday, and every day during the school holidays.
