Behind the Scenes at the Victor Harbor Tramway Stables is an exclusive experience with the magnificent Clydesdales of the famous Horse Drawn Tram — and it’s one of the most quietly wonderful things you can do on the Fleurieu Coast.
Your visit begins with the rich history of the tram, before you witness the intricate process of harnessing and saddling a Clydesdale, observe their training in the scenic yard, and get to know these cherished horses up close in their beautiful bush-setting stables.
The dedication and skill of the handlers. The sheer presence of the horses. The bond between them.
Available daily throughout June, twice a day. Children 12 and under go free with a paying adult.
