Stories of Whaling and Shipwrecks
June 6 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am ACST

Beneath the surface of Encounter Bay, history runs deep. ⚓🐋
The waters around the Bluff and Granite Island once drew whalers from across the world. Some of their ships never made it home. Every Saturday and Sunday in June, Victor Harbor Walking Tours brings those stories back to the surface.
Stories of Whaling and Shipwrecks Around Encounter Bay is a guided walk along the Encounter Bay foreshore; tracing the history of the early whaling industry, the lives of the men who worked these waters, and the wrecks that still lie beneath the bay.
The kind of history that makes you look at a familiar coastline with completely new eyes.
