Victor Harbor Heritage Hunt – part of South Australia’s History Month

Embark on a self-directed heritage hunt and discover Victor Harbor’s fascinating history in this fun, family-friendly activity! Follow clues to explore significant heritage locations around the town, answering questions along the way. All correct entries will go into the draw to win one of 60 fantastic prizes donated by local businesses.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, explore, and celebrate Victor Harbor’s rich heritage while enjoying a fun challenge with family and friends. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this activity offers a unique way to connect with the town’s history and community spirit. Plus, with great prizes up for grabs, it’s an adventure worth taking!

How to Join:

Pick up an entry form from either the Victor Harbor Visitor Centre (2 Railway Terrace) or the Victor Harbor Library (1 Bay Road) during opening hours between 1–13 May 2026. Once you’ve completed the hunt, return your form to any of the same locations by 4pm 13 May 2026.

 

Prize Draw:

Winners will be drawn at 4:00 pm on 14 May 2026.

This exciting event is part of the South Australia History Festival and is proudly created and organised by the Encounter Bay Family History Group, with support from the Victor Harbor Visitor Centre and Victor Harbor Library.
