The students of Yankalilla Area School have been paying attention – to the ocean, to the whales, to the stories that belong to this Country. And all through June, you can see what they found. 🐋
Oceans of Wonder is a free, student-led art exhibition at the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre in Yankalilla, professionally displayed throughout the month and open to anyone who walks through the door.
Created through guided workshops, the artworks draw on the Ngarrindjeri people’s deep connection to land and waters; bringing Kondoli the Whale, the Leafy Sea Dragon and other ocean beings to life through young eyes and original creative vision.
Bring the family. Bring the kids. Let the next generation show you this coast in a whole new way.
