
Ring in 2026 at the Victor Harbor New Year’s Eve Celebrations – a fun-filled, family-friendly evening by the sea, proudly presented by the City of Victor Harbor in partnership with major sponsor Girdler Family Amusements.
This free community event attracts thousands to the heart of Victor Harbor with exciting amusements, live music, food vendors, kids’ activities, and a spectacular double fireworks display at 9:45pm and midnight.
What to Expect
• Live entertainment from 7:30pm (line-up to be announced soon)
• Girdler Family Amusements operating all day from 10am to midnight
• Free face painting and bubble fun
• Petting zoo and roving performers
• Fireworks at 9:45pm (kids’ session) and midnight

Dry Zone Reminder
No alcohol permitted from 3pm on 31 December to 9am on 1 January, including Warland Reserve, the Causeway, and Granite Island.
Road Closures
From 5pm on 31 December to 6am on 1 January:
• The Esplanade (Flinders Parade to Wills Street)
• Albert Place (Crozier Road to The Esplanade)
• Flinders Parade (Coral Street to The Esplanade)
• Railway Terrace (Albert Place to Coral Street)
• Ocean Street (Coral Street to Albert Place)
Vehicle access for local business and emergency services via Victoria Street only.
Granite Island Access
The Causeway and Granite Island will be closed to the public between 6pm and 1am for fireworks safety.
Waterway Exclusion Zone
A 500-metre exclusion zone either side of the Causeway will apply from 10pm to 1am. No public access permitted during this time.
